Join George Freas, police officer and R.A.D. instructor for this how-to course on self-defense. Learn avoidance techniques & get information about safety in & around your home & while out Learn about the law and how it plays a part in your responsibility while defending yourself. Learn what to do in the case of an assault, and how to protect yourself from becoming a victim. Learn the definition of a weapon & target area as well as proper defense stance, strikes, blocks, kicks and how to escape from choke holds. Open to those 14 years and older. Space is limited.
Members $39, Nonmembers $49.

George Freas is a police office and a certified R.A.D. (Rape Aggression, Defense) instructor teaching women's self defense since 1999. The goal of his program is to make women more aware of their surroundings and the possible dangers of those surroundings as well as give women the basic tools needed to boost their self confidence in knowing they can defend themselves.
