Join Lisa Fields for this Reformer workshop designed specifically for active older adults.  Work on joint range of motion while increasing your core strength using Pilates Reformer techniques.  Pilates has proven benefits for posture and core strength, which are essential for the older individuals
concerned about osteoporosis and back pain.  Maximum 6 participants.  
*Individuals who wish to participate in this workshop must be able to go from a
seated to supine position and visa versa independently.  Anyone with a history of
joint replacement should consult the instructor prior to enrolling.

Thursdays, 11am—12noon 6 weeks starting May 1, 2008
Thinking about swimsuit season? This is the perfect workshop for you! Take classic Pilates techniques and then add all the toys—the magic circle, soft ball weights, light hand weights, and bands—and you have a workout that will create a strong, sculpted core and long, lean muscles. Pilates is also great for posture and balance. Ann Krisher will take participants through a series of Pilates workouts made progressively more difficult with the addition of “toys”! Maximum 12 participants.
Members $60/Nonmembers $85.

Pilates One-on-One
One hour teacher/student (or small group) pilates sessions can be booked privately in our Pilates Reformer studio at Cornerstone, Doylestown or in our New Hope location. (mat only) Learn the basics in private sessions or increase your pilates work to higher levels.
